Established in 1912, the Hadley Insurance Agency, owned by Robert and Chris Hadley, joined forces with Paul C. Burke and Insurit Agency (with its own roots dating back to 1926) to create the Hadley Insurit Group or HIG.
Following that first successful partnership, and with a chance to bring even more offerings to customers, Cote Insurance Agency, formed in 1994 by owner Tom Cote, joined HIG in January 2010. In September of 2011 HIG had the pleasure of adding Lial Insurance Agency to the family.
A one-stop shop offering auto, business, home, life and health insurance policies, the combination of all three agencies under one roof and one name helps expand the group's offerings while keeping their eyes on the quality customer service that is the basis of their success.
